Get your Johannesburg showroom recommended by ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Maps.
We fix the Google Business Profile, structured data and content signals that AI assistants and Google Maps use to decide which Johannesburg showroom to recommend — for fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and trade-supply businesses across Gauteng.
Serving Randburg, Sandton, Fourways, Midrand, Centurion, Pretoria and the East Rand.
AI search visibility (also called AEO or GEO) is the practice of optimising a business so AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Gemini cite and recommend it. Social Media Shop provides AI search visibility optimisation for home-improvement showrooms and trade suppliers in Johannesburg and across Gauteng.
Johannesburg is the most competitive showroom market in South Africa. When a buyer asks an AI assistant for “a good fireplace showroom in Johannesburg” or searches “kitchen showroom Sandton”, the businesses that appear are the ones with a complete Google Business Profile, verified LocalBusiness schema, consistent reviews and pages that answer the question directly. We build exactly those signals.
AI assistant citations
FAQ and service-area content structured the way ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews read it, so your showroom is named — not just a competitor in Sandton.
Google Maps 3-pack in Gauteng
Category, service-area and review signals tuned to the suburbs your buyers search from, with LocalBusiness schema carrying verified coordinates and opening hours.
Visibility audit
We check where your showroom currently appears across ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Google Maps for Johannesburg searches, and give you a ranked fix list.

Frequently Asked Questions
AI search visibility is how often ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Gemini name your business when someone asks for a recommendation. In Johannesburg, where a buyer searching for a fireplace or kitchen showroom has dozens of options between Sandton, Randburg, Fourways and the East Rand, AI assistants are increasingly the first filter — and they only recommend businesses whose Google Business Profile, schema and content they can verify.
We work with showrooms and trade suppliers across Gauteng: Randburg, Sandton, Fourways, Bryanston, Rivonia, Midrand, Centurion, Pretoria East, Roodepoort, Krugersdorp, Bedfordview, Edenvale, Boksburg and Benoni. Service-area targeting is set per showroom so you rank where your buyers actually are.

Google Maps and AI Overview movement typically starts within 30–60 days of fixing the Google Business Profile, deploying LocalBusiness and FAQ schema and publishing clear service-area content.
